When creating The Warren we decided to use natural materials throughout, bringing outdoors indoors and creating a warmth the moment you step into the restaurant. The kitchen become a box inside the entire box. The heart of The Warren is the kitchen, for this reason we placed the "box" in the center of the floor plan, facilitating the flow of the restaurant and emphasizing what is the most important; The food.
We framed the kitchen in a timeless rainbow design pattern paired with function by creating three windows to the rest of the space. This way, all guests, can visualize whats been cooking!
The use of this gold damask on the walls exemplifies luxury, making a reference to Classical styles. Taking into consideration that the restaurant is situated is a historical site as so many buildings in the neighborhood we wanted to keep it fresh and modern but still relate to the history that it pursues.
One of the first big challenges when designing the floor plan was to maximize sitting as much as possible.
This space (left) before served as storage. We decided to open it up and create more sitting for larger parties.
Adding mirror on the back wall it expands the space and brings natural light during day light.  The nice pendant creates an atmosphere of warmth while dining.
In fact, we decided to emphasize the drop of the ceiling placing wood, it brings more texture and interest to the alcove.
In addition, we created the banquet sitting area with tufting backs to accommodate more guests. Now, 7 people are able to sit comfortably in this table.
Behind the bar during renovation we were able to discover the original brick work. We decided to exposed it and white wash it, making that wall a great backdrop, keeping the history in the design.
